Dining at Woodside Assisted Living
At Woodside assisted living, Friendship Village Chef Jeremiah Jamieson and his culinary staff serve restaurant-style meals with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that you’ll enjoy in our elegant, private dining rooms with cozy four-to-a-table settings. Delicious? That goes without saying. But menu creations at Woodside are good for you, too, with each dining option a vital part of our Living Well at Friendship Village commitment to optimum nutrition. And if you have any specific food restrictions--no problem. We can easily accommodate any special diet.
Comfort Food with a Fresh Flare
With a wealth of culinary experience spanning more than 16 years, Chef Jeremiah Jamieson is Woodside’s Executive Chef and Dining Room Manager. Originally from West Bloomfield, Michigan, Chef Jeremiah studied culinary arts at Johnson and Wales in Charlotte, NC. He opened an Irish Pub and ran a catering company for 6 years in Charlotte before returning to Michigan. At Woodside, Jeremiah is responsible for serving 240 meals a day. He offers the comfort food our residents enjoy, but with the volume turned up – preparing each meal with locally sourced fresh and flavorful ingredients. Always looking to raise the bar, you can find Jeremiah mingling with each resident during meal times to ensure the food is to their exacting specifications.
