Baked Eggs in Cornflake Cups

  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • salt & pepper to taste


  • In a small bowl combine crushed cornflakes and melted butter. Lightly grease four custard cups with butter or vegetable spray. Pat cornflake mixture onto the bottom and sides of the custard cup. Break the egg into each cup. Add 1 TBSP milk to each cup on top of the egg. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 15-20 minutes until set and yolk is desired firmness. Serve hot from the oven.
