Betsy Bale

Executive Director

Betsy has over 20 years of experience in health care administration. She became the Executive Director of Friendship Village in July 2016. Prior to this she assumed the roles of Executive Director and Nursing Home Administrator in Jackson and Kalamazoo, Michigan.  She holds a license in the State of Michigan by the Department of Community Health Board of Nursing Home Administrators.

Kathy Harmon

Administrator

Kathy has been a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Michigan since 2012. As the Administrator of Friendship Village, her role is to ensure the highest quality of care for residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and comprehensive care. Her responsibilities include overseeing Woodside, Health and Rehab Center teams. She is committed to delivering 5-star service and care.

Ashley Jamieson

Director of Woodside Resident Care

Ashley joined Friendship Village in October 2008 as an LPN at Woodside, our Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, where she worked for 5 years. In 2013, she accepted a position in our Independent Living community as the Office Supervisor. In 2015, she returned to Woodside as the Assistant Director of Woodside Resident Care. In March 2019, she accepted the Director of Woodside Resident Care position. She obtained her Associates in Nursing at Lake Superior State University in 2008.

Brandon Pierce

Director of Facility Services

Brandon joined the Friendship Village management team as Director of Facility Services in September 2016.  He has over 20 years of facilities experience, the last ten in the senior living community setting.  Most recently Brandon served as Building Engineer at Canterbury on the Lake (2006-2012) and Director of Plant Operations at Regency at Waterford (2012-2016), both located in Waterford, Michigan.  Brandon has proven himself as an effective leader who excels at using proven methods and cutting-edge technology to successfully cut costs, streamline operations and increase productivity.


Brittany Burke

Director of Nursing

Brittany Burke joined the Friendship Village staff in 2017 as the Rehab Center Unit Manager and was subsequently named Director of Nursing in January 2018.  Brittany spent the beginning of her career as a floor nurse at Bronson Hospital-Battle Creek, Michigan.  In 2013, Brittany began working for Heartland Health Care Center, also in Battle Creek, and was promoted to Unit Manager in 2015. Brittany received her RN degree from Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Craig Fowler

Director of Food and Beverage

Craig joined Friendship Village in 2001. With over 45 years in the hospitality industry, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in 1977, and he has served as a regional restaurant supervisor for a Midwest restaurant chain. Craig started as a dishwasher at 16 and progressed through the ranks over the next 30 years. At Friendship Village, he brings exceptional professional experience and high energy to ensure that residents receive the highest quality culinary experience and service. Craig is dedicated to exceeding residents’ expectations.


David-Goodrich

David Goodrich

Accounting Director

David has been with Friendship Village since May 2001 when he joined the management team as the Accounting Director. David’s professional experience began as a Financial Analyst for First of America Bank and continued as the Controller for Advance Plastics Corporation.


Diana Duncan

Director of Sales and Marketing

Diana transitioned into the Director of Sales and Marketing role in October 2018 after a successful three-year journey as the Director of Marketing for Friendship Village’s Woodside Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. Prior to coming to Friendship Village, Diana spent 7 years implementing a volunteer wellness and activities program for Ganton Senior Communities at which Reflections Memory Care achieved Gold Level status from the Michigan Center for Assisted Living (MCAL). She volunteers with the Alzheimer Association serving on the board for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and chairs the Kalamazoo Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Diana is also a U.S. Army veteran.


Ken-Greschak

Ken Greschak

Director of Fund Development

and Life Enrichment

Ken oversees fundraising, life enrichment, transportation services, and our Fitness Center. Ken’s career progressed from journalism to advertising and marketing communications to sales. Ken has also worked in fund development with the American Cancer Society and with Senior Services of SW Michigan. He has been with Friendship Village since 2012.


Raegan

Raegan Rhoderick

Director of Resident Services

Raegan started with Friendship Village 2007 as a caregiver.  In her current role, she is responsible for guiding residents while they get acclimated to living in The Village. She also oversees the nursing and caregiving staff for Independent Living, The Village Store, and the beauty salon.

PHR - Director of Human Resources

Stephanie is responsible for ensuring that qualified and responsive staff are recruited and trained for the services they provide to residents of Friendship Village. By creating a supportive and high-expectation environment, Stephanie assures that team members will meet resident expectations while offering opportunities for personal fulfillment and growth. She has more than 15 years of experience in human resources.

Teresa Snook

Director of Administrative Services & Community Outreach

Teresa manages the front office, supervises the First Impressions reception team, and assists both the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Teresa also fosters relationships with local organizations and coordinates community connections for area colleges, universities, businesses and individuals.  Teresa joined the Friendship Village staff in 2009 as a Life Enrichment Assistant.
