Residents and Their Families Love Friendship Village!
“What a wonderful senior living community! The efforts that the staff put into creating an upscale, person-centered experience for the residents is very apparent.” – Tom F., Google Review
“From the top down they are outstanding people who really love, invest, and care for the residents. I absolutely recommend Friendship Village for anyone considering retirement living.” – Pamela L., Google Review
“Friendship Village became home for my mom in July of 2019. In our search for a good place for her to live, we were repeatedly told by others about the compassionate staff at Friendship Village, the residents who genuinely care for each other and treat each other like family, and the beautiful surroundings, gardens and facilities at Friendship Village. We could not be happier about the decision to make this my mom’s new home, and appreciate all the personal touches the staff and administration puts forth to make it such a special place to live and to visit!” – Carol B., Google Review
“The atmosphere and energy at Friendship Village is unmatched. It is a wonderful establishment that is able to meet your needs no matter what level of care you need. All of the team members are ready and willing to address any concerns and answer any questions. I highly recommend Friendship Village to anyone searching for a senior living community that feels more like a vacation home.” – Nicole H., Google Review
This week, our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park! The crisp fall air and gorgeous sunshine made it a perfect day to explore the grounds and take in all the beauty the gardens have to offer.
The highlight was the stunning Chihuly glass exhibits. The vibrant colors seemed to glow even brighter against the backdrop of autumn, and everyone loved the sculptures, scenery, and time together.
Outings like this remind us how special it is to explore, laugh, and make memories together. 💛
Our GEM team members, Michaela and Allison reminded us why hospitality is about people, not just service. Every warm welcome, thoughtful detail, and moment of going above and beyond helped make a resident or a guest’s day a little brighter.
You don’t just meet our hospitality promises, you bring them to life every single day. We’re so proud of this team and so grateful to work alongside you. 💎
🌱 Fresh things are coming to our new dining spaces, and we went straight to the source! 🍅
We recently visited the Kalamazoo ValleyHUB to learn more about one of our valued community partners and a source for the fresh, local ingredients that will be featured on our menus. Seeing the care and commitment that goes into growing and sourcing great food right here in our own backyard was inspiring.
We can’t wait to share what’s cooking when our new dining spaces open soon. Stay tuned! 👀
Thank you to the Kalamazoo Valley Community College ValleyHUB team for the warm welcome and for being such an important part of our community!
