Essential Job Duties Include:
- Works with the Life Enrichment Director to develop, plan, coordinate and direct multiple programs and events.
- Coordinates program set up and assists presenters before, during and after program as required.
- Develops, posts, and/or distributes information and material, including through in-house TV channel, regarding events, programs, activities, etc.
- Assists in the publication and distribution of weekly and monthly calendars of all Life Enrichment program aspects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School education. College degree preferred.
- Two years of experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with accuracy in English and perform simple arithmetic.
Friendship Village is searching for full and part- time Dishwasher/ Utility Workers to work in their Dish Room. The Utility worker performs a number of kitchen activities including dishwashing, pot and pan washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies. The Utility Worker is responsible for removing dirty dishes and garbage from dining rooms and employee break room. They also assist with tray assembly and delivery.

Roughly 4 days per week, must be flexible with hours as hours will depend on the required testing (twice a week or 1 time a week according to the positivity rate.) Will require antigen testing (obtaining specimens) and obtaining results, documenting and reporting to the proper authorities. Logging and tracking all test results either antigen or PCR. Wages start in the $12-14 range depending on years of experience. The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals to the residents in accordance with the posted menus.
Cook Essential Job Duties:
- Completes production sheet for each meal.
- Prepares and portions desserts, salads, breads, and beverages for meals..
- Communicates with residents concerning nutritional needs.
- Sets up tables in the Dining room and breaks down same after meals.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School diploma required. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English, understand measurements, make basic conversions, perform basic arithmetic, and follow basic oral and written instructions
- 1 year of professional cooking experience required

Friendship Village is looking for full-time and part-time Certified Nurse Aides. The Nurses Aide assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.
Essential Job Duties include:
- Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
- Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
- Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
- Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

We are searching for a part-time Unit Clerk to work in our Health Center, a skilled nursing environment. This position is afternoon hours and every other weekend. The Unit Clerk is responsible for desk coverage, answering the Health Center telephone, ordering, unpacking and restocking supplies when needed, scheduling appointments and other clerical duties as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Job Duties Include:
1. Answer telephone and coordinate messages, using two-way radio and/or pager systems when necessary, in a polite positive manner.
2. Keep nurses stations clean, orderly and supplied with forms in both the Health Center as well as the Rehab Center.
3. Check oxygen supply on each shift in both the Health Center as well as the Rehab Center.
4. Keeps nourishment refrigerators in both the Health Center as well as the Rehab Center stocked.
5. Updates on computer daily worksheets i.e. group sheets, assignment sheets, BM sheets, phone lists and other sheets when needed.
6. Schedule doctor appointments and arrange transportation. Prepare paperwork for resident appointments.
7. Calling for diagnostic tests and fills out the lab requisition forms when needed.
8. Maintains bath schedule with vital signs daily, as well as adding new admissions to bath schedule.
9. Completes maintenance orders as needed and checks to make sure the work orders are picked up in a timely manner.
10. Stocks nurse’s filing cabinet with forms in both the Health Center as well as the Rehab Center.
11. Keeps supply of paper for copy room full in both the Health Center as well as the Rehab Center.
