Bea’s Super Easy Butter Cookies
Fancy and tasty, but oh so easy!
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 Yolk of egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- Maraschino cherries (drained) or pecan halves, optional
- Cream all ingredients and chill 1 hour. Roll small pieces into balls. Place on cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
- If desired, top each with a maraschino cherry or pecan half. Bake at 350 degrees until edges are done.
